Upgrading your Online Security
Free Security Tokens now available

At Customs Credit Union we are continually looking for ways to make your Internet and Mobile Banking experience as secure as possible to further protect you against any possible fraudulent activity.

For this reason, we now have available an extra layer of security for Internet and Mobile Banking in the form of security tokens.

A security token is a small electronic device that generates a one time password displayed on the token’s screen. A different password will be generated by your token and this will be required once per session in Internet and Mobile Banking after activating your token when you:

  • change your login name
  • change your Access Code
  • perform maintenance on your Membership (change address or contact details).
  • send funds to a payee who is not in your existing Payee list
  • send funds to new or updated Personal Payees

We strongly recommend all Members take advantage of this extra layer of security. It is also important that you ensure your computer/s are up-to-date with the latest security software.

The Internet Banking Security Token is issued free of charge to Members. To order your new Security Token, please login to our Internet Banking site and order your Security Token by selecting "My Preferences" in the menu options then “Security Options” and then select "Request". You will then need to confirm your request and your token will automatically be ordered.

Using your Mobile as a Security Token

Security tokens are also available to download onto most mobile phones, giving you extra security without having to carry an extra token. To find out whether it is available on your mobile, to download the software, or for more information visit the VeriSign website.

To activate your Mobile Phone Token or for more information please contact the Assistance Centre on 131 728 or your nearest CCU/PCU Branch.
